Acme Fire has always looked at ways to protect our environment. We recycle almost 90% of all parts of decommissioned extinguishers. We responsibly dispose of hazardous materials such as dry chemical extinguisher powder to facilities that perform this service (Sumas Environmental services). Batteries, cardboard, paper, steel, aluminum, brass, plastics are diverted from the landfill to facilities that perform these services.

Acme Fire’s email first initiative has reduced our print copies by 60%. We have reduced the use of normal mail for invoices and inspection reports by over 50% in the last three years. Recently we have added digital inspection reports to cut paper waste even more. By utilizing cloud storage we are able to share documents with customers and suppliers without having to print or mail, saving time, the environment and costs.

Acme Fire expresses its social responsibility thru our support of various charities. Charity that we offer monetary and or our organizational support is: Isabelle Legacy Golf Tournament: Acme Fire and T-Lane Transportation (Title sponsors) In support of BC Children’s Hospital Foundation Child Life Department. Annually, Acme Fire donates an estimated $20,000 in support of local causes and charities.
